Object of Desire

Today I'm posting a series of shots from a test shoot with Danielle Candida, who is wearing Object clothing line and is rocking it against my white wall.  Danielle is a student at Syracuse University and signed with L.A. Models.  Check out Object's fashion blog for their latest updates.

Tennis anyone?

With this shoot, I am working with model, actress, author and fashionista, Kristina Korsholm from Denmark.  Together we created something playful with a vintage feel.  Tennis is a game of love and Kristina is striking a pose and I like to use corny cliches.

Inappropriate Love

The above image I thought I appropriately named "LOVE", featuring models Stacy and James, and its really sad to me that someone would report this image to Facebook as being inappropriate.   It really shows what type of society we live in.  When someone looks at a photo like this, they deem as inappropriate only shows what type of mindset they have.  Instead of seeing the beauty of two people in love, they see something bad and indecent.  Now that someone has reported "LOVE" as inappropriate, I have been blocked from Facebook until the image is reviewed by Facebook.  These are the hurdles that artist must face when living in a world of haters.

Quarter of a million

Last week was my one year anniversary of starting my blog and yesterday I reached a quarter of a million hits.  Thank you for all of your support.  It has been a great year yet I have to reach new heights and keep rising.  Stay tune for all future updates and announces.

You wanna meet Ms. Ghana?

I had the pleasure of working with and photographing, Yayra Nego, Ms. Ghana of the Ms. Universe pageant for 360 magazine.  This was a great shoot with the collaboration with celebrity stylist, Marc Littlejohn.  Below are a few behind the scene shots from the shoot, as Marc preps the lovely beauty queen. Look for the feature photos in the upcoming issue of 360 magazine.

Who's the Boss

Today is the day of birth for Isaac Cohen, represented by Abrams Artists Agency.  Have a great day, super model!  In this photo, Isaac just happen to be in my neighborhood with his friend and mine, Victor Ross.  We went up to my rooftop and he stripped down to his underwear and we took a couple of snaps during the sunset.  Fortunately, he didn't wear his Fruit of the Looms that day.

1 year anniversary of the Bloggy

Today I celebrate my 1 year anniversary of my bloggy!  This has been a great way of sharing my work and connecting with followers.  I really appreciate all of the support and I am close to reaching a quarter of a million hits.  Not bad in one year so thank you everyone.  I am now preparing for my next exhibition in San Francisco at The Artist Alley for the erotic art events in September.
The following model, Ieva Lasmane is from Latvia and this was my second time working with her and I believe we had some amazing results.  One of her images will be a part of my works on display at The Artist Alley.
Thank you for such a great year!!!  Bigger things to come!

Bermuda Triangle

Here are a couple of shots from my test with Wilhelmina male model, Darius Dio right before his trip home to Bermuda.  Darius's best friend is his pet lizard, Drako; still a great model, nonetheless.

The Shape of Man

I just shot one of the best male bodies that I've shot in quite some years and it belong to Branden Mitch.  This is what I looked like 10 years ago.  Branden is amazing to work with and also had the pleasure of working with the great, German photographer Sylvie Blum and created phenomenal images with her as well.  Today is his birthday and here he is in his birthday suit and if I had a body like his, everyday would be my birthday.  The last image in this series will be in my next exhibit, in San Francisco, at The Artist Alley in September.

Today's feature model is Michael Kimani, originally from Nairobi, Kenya.  I love Michael's (or Kimani, as I like to call him.  I love that name) features and he is a charming young man.  We definitely need more models like him, with his distinct looks but being of African descent is not the easiest journey for models in Los Angeles.  I have worked with Kimani twice and both times received great results.  Today is his birthday so I am wishing him the best and hope that big things come his way.
